Former Oscar winner and music composer AR Rahman recently shared his views on Indian films being nominated for international awards. Read on to know.

Featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in lead roles, the song is composed by MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandra Bose are at the top of the world ever since their Oscar win. The duo has been receiving praise and applause from all over the world for their Oscar victory.

Recently, Oscar-winner and ace music composer AR Rahman opened up about his opinions regarding Indian films being nominated in the Best Foreign Film Category. During an interview with another music legend L Subramaniam in a conversation that’s out on the former’s YouTube channel., the Slumdog Millionaire crooner said that sometimes India sends ‘wrong movies’ to compete. He said, “Sometimes, I see that our movies go till the Oscar… they don’t get it. Wrong movies are being sent for the Oscars. And I am just like DON’T.”

Going forward, he further added, “I have to be in Westerner’s shoes to see what’s happening here. I have to be in my shoes to see what they are doing.”

The prestigious award show which was held at the Dolby Stadium in Los Angeles on March 12 was attended by the lead team of RRR including Ram Charan, Rajamouli, Jr. NTR, MM Keeravaani, SS Karthikeya, Chandra Bose and others.

The live performance of Naatu Naatu by the OG singers of the song Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava with the stellar dance choreography by Lauren Gottlieb at the Oscar night received immense attention and even got a standing ovation from the audience. The performance was well received as it got a standing ovation from the audience.
