Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a comedy show that has been entertaining the masses for years. The show has been one of the favorites of TV viewers since 2008, to be exact. However, the show has received a lot of negative light over the past few months. From Shailesh Lodha’s exit to the dues non-payment lawsuit, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Modi now has a sexual harassment case against him. Jennifer Mistry Bansival has filed a lawsuit against the show’s makers for sexual harassment. Following the allegations, a statement was released in which the creators claimed that Jennifer was undisciplined, lacked concentration and had an abusive personality. Now the show’s former director Malav Raja has come out in support of Jennifer.

Malav Raja told Etimes that Jennifer Mistry Bansival was quite well mannered and cheerful when he worked on the show. He said he worked on the show for 14 years and never once did Jennifer misbehave or mistreat anyone on set. He was quoted as saying, “Jennifer is one of the funniest people on set. She is a happy person and got along well with everyone. Be it the technical team, the directing team, the director, the hair and makeup or the co-stars, she was on good terms with everyone on set with everyone. I’ve been on set for 14 years and Jennifer has never misbehaved with anyone in front of me. She was never abusive on set.”

Earlier, when Jennifer Mistry Bansival revealed her side of the story, he called the sets “male chauvinistic”. To this, Mandar Chandwadkar, who plays the role of Mr. Bhide, contradicts her claims. Jennifer Mistry Bansival later expressed her disappointment with Mandar and even mentioned that he knows the whole truth. She even called him a close friend and said she was surprised by his statement.

Jennifer Mistry Bansival played the role of Mrs. Roshan Singh Sodhi in the show. She quit the show after being denied half a day on her anniversary and faced humiliation. The case is now under investigation.
