“Let us begin today’s bulletin with news on producer Aditya Chopra who is allegedly very upset after the box office failures of Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Samrat Prithviraj. According to the article’s writer Subhash Jha, sources at Yash Raj are looking to blame Akshay Kumar for Samrat Prithviraj’s failure. The source reportedly commented, “He wouldn’t listen. The film required a dedicated concentration. He wouldn’t even grow a real moustache, as he was doing other projects simultaneously… why couldn’t he have done just this one project, and given his best to it?”
While we will never really know whether Aditya Chopra is in fact furious, or if Akshay Kumar should be blamed, there definitely seems to be a churn happening with Hindi film audiences.

Moving on, Ranbir Kapoor has made it clear that he won’t be returning to Koffee with Karan because it’s just too much trouble, but on the couple of occasions that he did appear on the show, he gave his fans exactly what they wanted. In a 2010 appearance on the show, Ranbir made a prediction that remarkably came true. He was joined on the episode by Imran Khan, and completely unprompted, said at one point that Imran seems ‘like the kind of person who, at the peak of his career, would probably leave it’. News of his retirement from acting came in 2020, when his friend Akshaye Oberoi spoke about it in interviews.
“In other news,
Actor Akshay Kumar had a witty response when asked whether he had to deal with ‘tantrums’ while shooting for his upcoming film Raksha Bandhan with five women. In the film, Akshay plays the role of a businessman who promises to marry off his four sisters, before he can marry his girlfriend, played by Bhumi Pednekar. At the trailer launch event, Akshay was asked how he managed to work with his five co-stars as women are known to have ‘sweet tantrums.’ Akshay said that he has never seen any of his women co-stars having tantrums. He clapped back at the reporter by saying, “”I didn’t find any tantrums, everything was as normal as it could get””. ”
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif left fans surprised when they decided to walk the aisle last year. The couple had been dating for a while but kept it hush-hush. And now, the Sardar Udham actor has opened up about being married and also revealed his friends’ reaction to Katrina being his wife. The actor was asked about how he feels as a married man, and he said with a broad grin “It’s going good. I actually feel settled. I think that’s the appropriate word. God has been kind, be it my personal or professional life,” He also revealed that people at his wedding tagged him as the ‘chillest groom’.
Bollywood actor Salman Khan, along with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Rajya Sabha MP and Green India founder J Santosh Kumar, participated in the Green India Challenge 5.0. Salman Khan, who arrived in Hyderabad as part of his film-shooting, was accompanied by his film crew and he planted a sapling at Ramoji Film City recently. Speaking on the occasion, Salman Khan said every person should take up the responsibility of a plantation programme and also take adequate care of the saplings until they grow big.

The actor announced her latest business venture in America, a homeware line called Sona Home. Sharing a video with her co-founder Maneesh Goyal, Priyanka spoke about how she believes in bringing her Indian roots and culture into everything that she does. The actor sported two gorgeous looks — one in all-white and another in a hot pink dress. She spoke about how Indians believe in bringing people together. It’s important for her to bring her heritage into her work, saying that she wants to put the culture of India in every house in her ‘adoptive country’.
“Lastly, John Abraham has said that though as a producer he would want to make films for the digital medium, he doesn’t see himself as an OTT actor.
In an interview with ETimes, John said he is fine with releasing his production ventures on streaming platforms, but as an actor, he wants to be on the big screen. The actor added, “I would not like to be available for Rs 299 or 499. I have a problem with it.”
