Popular Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has accused the government of killing famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. He also talks about how Sidhu’s parents have to suffer after the death of their only son. He said the policy was bad and it was the complete failure of the government.
Talking about the recent death of Sidhu Moosewala and Deep Sidhu, Diljit believes that artistes can do no wrong to anyone, adding that they all worked hard. He decided to believe that something must have gone wrong between Sidhu and someone else and called it very sad. He also talks about how Sidhu is the only child of their parents and one cannot even imagine how they have to live with the death of their son.
“100% ye sarkar ki nalayaki hai. Ye politics hai aur politics bahut gandi hai. from the very beginning,” Diljit told Film Companion. He also said that artists have been killed before and recalled how there used to be problems when people knew why this person was becoming so successful.
Meanwhile, gangster Satinderjit Singh alias Goldie Brar, the alleged mastermind behind Sidhu Muswala’s murder, has been detained in California, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann confirmed on Friday. Brar, a member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, has moved to the US from Canada, where he has been based since 2017. He claimed responsibility for the brutal killing of Muswala on May 29 on behalf of the gang.
On Thursday, Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, urged the Punjab government to announce a reward of at least Rs 2 crore for any information leading to Brar’s arrest. Brar, a native of Sri Muktsar Sahib, had gone to Canada on a student visa in 2017. He was also a key conspirator in the killing of the Dera Sacha Sauda follower last month. The Moosewala killing was carried out by six gunmen, four of whom were arrested and two were shot dead in a police encounter.
