While the members of BTS are world famous, the boys have kept their families quite private. The only ones known are Jungkook and Jimin’s father. The latter owns a popular cafe in Busan, so he is known to quite a few people, including fans. All of South Korea is now mourning the horrific Halloween stampede tragedy in Itaewon that left more than 150 dead. There was a surge of the crowd which caused a stampede. People suffocated and suffered cardiac arrests. In the middle of all this, someone spread a rumor that Jimin’s brother, Park Jihyun, was hospitalized and that Jimin and Taehyung went to visit him.
Well, it turns out that someone was pretending to be Park Jihyun. When the video went viral, fans and ARMY started asking each other. The man, said to be Park Jihyun, said he suffered minor injuries. It seems some fans tried to contact Jimin’s brother, who confirmed that it wasn’t him. This is really unfortunate if true. The tragedy came as a shock to the world, and this seems downright callous.
