One of the big films in the first half of 2024 is Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff team up with producer Ali Abbas Zafar to deliver an action-packed spectacle for the audience. They made the announcement on 5th May 2023. We know that Eid is synonymous with a Salman Khan movie. He is rumored to be discussing a big budget masala film with Karan Johar. It was supposed to be an Aid movie. Although he confirmed that negotiations are underway, the Eid dates seem clear for now.
Considering the budget of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, it is important that they get a clean weekend. Sources told Bollywood Hungama that Ali Abbas Zafar called Salman Khan before announcing the release date of his film. He wanted to be doubly sure before making the decision. The source said that Salman Khan has immense respect for Akshay Kumar and feels him as a true friend. He said that he is happy to know that Ali’s film is coming on top of Bairam and he is not doing a film on this period at present. The source was quoted as saying, “He wants his two friends Ali and Akshay to entertain the audience with their entertainer during Eid 2024.”
SALMAN KHAN AND ID GO HAND IN HAND
In fact, Salman Khan might even promote the film. Looks like he’ll be happy to see his friends doing well on Eid. In 2022, Ajay Devgn released Runway 34 on Eid. Ajay Devgn also seems to have spoken to Salman Khan before deciding on the date. The film was a critical success, but performed moderately at the box office. Back in 2013, Rohit Shetty did the same for Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Chennai Express. Salman Khan released Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on Eid this year. The film was an adaptation of Ajith Kumar’s Veeram.
Salman Khan discusses some big projects. There is Prem Ki Shaadi with Suraj Barjatya. Then he has Tiger vs Pataan. Looks like he wants to start working on the film soon as his body is in top shape. Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are now in the schedule of Tiger 3. The shooting is taking place at Mad Island. The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma. Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi are also there.
