Dennis James collects predictions for the 2022 Mr. Olympia in the latest episodes of The Menace Podcast, and his latest predictions come from former Mr. Olympia champion Dexter “The Blade” Jackson.

Jackson joined James, Chris Cormier, Melvin Anthony, Stan McCrary and Milos Sartsev on a recent roundtable episode, and James put Jackson on the spot to make his top six Olympia predictions. Like many others, the 2008 Mr. Olympia has two-time defending Mr. Olympia, Mamdouh Elsbiai, retaining the title. However, his overall top six looks very interesting. Jackson has 2019 champion Brandon Curry finishing behind William Bonack and Nick Walker.

Dexter Jackson 2022 Mr. Olympia Top Six Predictions

  1. Big Ramy
  2. William Bonack
  3. Nick Walker
  4. Brandon Curry
  5. Hadi Chupan
  6. David Samson

Jackson shared why he sees Elssbiay winning his third Mr. Olympia in Las Vegas the weekend of December 16-18.

“I had Ramy win because, first of all, he’s already the champion. Second, no one brought it,” Jackson said flatly. He believes that if any of the contenders show up ripped and ready to play, it could make Saturday night’s finals even more interesting.

“If any of these guys can do it with conditioning, they can beat Ramey if Ramey isn’t fit.”

Jackson shared this experience from personal experience. Although Jay Cutler was favored to win his third Mr. Olympia in 2008, he was not in peak condition and Jackson was perhaps his best ever, leading to the Blade taking the title in a historic upset.

The rest of the panel share their own thoughts and opinions on what’s to come at the Zappos Theater, and you can see what’s happening for yourself by purchasing the Olympia pay-per-view at www.olympiaproductions.com.
