Now, Deepika Kakar has decided to come clean on the matter.
She told ETimesTV that she had been misunderstood and misrepresented. The actress said she has no intention of giving up acting. She said she might take a few years off to devote time to her child. Deepika Kakkar said that she likes being a housewife. After years of working in daily soaps, the life of a housewife is something she craves. But that doesn’t mean she stopped being an actress. Deepika Kakkar said she may resume work soon if she gets a big project after the birth of her child. She said that this will be decided only after the child is born.
Deepika Kakar said she believes in old-school parenting. The actress believes that the child needs his mother when he is small. Deepika Kakkar said she wouldn’t want to miss this phase of motherhood. She said she would like to wake up for her child when he or she has exams and do the usual things. Deepika Kakkar said that she is enjoying her pregnancy immensely and this life is her dream. Deepika Kakar said she has immense respect for women who juggle motherhood, work and home at the same time.
Deepika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim got married in 2018. The couple spoke at length about how they support four families with their income. This is the second marriage of the actress. She was previously married to pilot Raunak Samson. She became famous everywhere with Sasural Simar Ka.
