Debina frequently posted on social media and had been outspoken about her pregnancy experience. The actress recently talked about the cultural pressure she had when trying to conceive.
The Ramayana actress had a tough time conceiving and had gone through several treatments for the same. She also revealed that she went through a lot both emotionally and mentally when it came to bearing a child. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the actress revealed, “Nobody knew what was going on in my life, so it was not very hurtful. Only you know what was going on, what was happening and it was a step-by-step process, you know your body, but the opinion of people sounds like a pressure.”
She also opened up on her husband Gurmeet’s support and said, “Guru was very protective about me, he would see me break down and was there for me. When need be, he becomes the rock.”

She admitted that during the time, she was an emotional disaster and couldn’t get herself up. When Gurmeet saw her in this state, he advised her against continuing with the IVF procedure because he wanted her to feel at ease. She described how she felt under those circumstances and further added, “He is so good, he is just concerned about me, my feelings, and my difficulties, and just wants us to be happy.”
Debina and Gurmeet welcomed their first child Lianna in April of this year. Debina conceived spontaneously only a few months after giving birth while her pregnancy was achieved through IVF.

She had numerous health difficulties, so it surprised the pair. The actress received an adenomyosis and endometriosis diagnosis during the lockdown.
