Jones, who grew up in New York, launched her Pieces of Me website in May, at first only featuring her graffiti-like artworks. On the site, he references her mental health struggles and says her aim is “joining together to heal through the beauty of art”.

“I have struggled with mental health issues for a majority of my life and creating art has always been a coping mechanism of mine, to get out of dark places that felt impossible to see my way out of,” Lexi explained.

Labour’s Dawn Butler still doesn’t trust the police, even though she’s an MP now. Launching her memoir at The Trouble Club at The Ned club last night, the MP for Brent told of doing a recent night shift with a local youth group. “This police car came screeching up… and everybody ran, including me,” Butler said. “It was like muscle memory. It wasn’t until… I realised a member of my team wasn’t with me I thought ‘Oh I shouldn’t be running’. I had to turn around and compose myself, put my hand out and say ‘Hello I’m Dawn Butler, member of Parliament’.” Not a great vote of confidence in the Met.

Boris Johnson’s successor as Tory MP for Uxbridge, Steve Tuckwell, has said he is “not daunted” by his new job. Tuckwell who won a closely fought by-election where Ulez was a big issue, tells PoliticsHome he will be “making sure I’m as local as I can possibly be”. While he was careful not to criticise Johnson, who never lived in the seat and rarely visited, Tuckwell said constituents have told him it’s nice to have a local MP. Asked if he could become PM one day, he said “I can’t see that happening”, adding: “I did this because I want to be the voice of the people of Uxbridge and Ruislip”. That makes a change.

All Points East festival in Victoria Park wrapped up on bank holiday Monday with a performance from Haim. The last time the band played London, Taylor Swift made a cameo.

Not so this time, but there was a famous face skulking around: Paul Mescal. The actor turned up to support his younger sister Nell, a singer-songwriter who was performing on a smaller stage. Paul was spotted singing along in the crowd, then they both watched the headliners from the VIP section. Posting online, Nell said the night was “so silly”, adding: “I can’t believe how many of you showed up”. Their other brother Donnacha joined in their hug.

Paul found fame in Normal People, and has been beefing up for Ridley Scott’s Gladiator sequel. He’s also been known to warble a tune himself, with tracks for the new Carmen film.
