And just like that, we now have seven celebrities confirmed for the Dancing on Ice 2023 line-up!

On Friday 7th October, Joey Essex and Drag Race star The Vivienne were confirmed as the latest contestants for season 15.

They’ll join Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Olympic gymnast Nile Wilson, Coronation Street star Mollie Gallagher, actress Patsy Palmer and football star John Fashanu, who were announced earlier this week.

More stars are expected to be announced over the next week, and RadioTimes.com will be sure to keep you updated right here with everything you need to know.

The show will return for season 15 in early 2023, with judges Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse expected to reprise their roles, alongside longterm hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

This will be Oti’s second season, after she took from John Barrowman for the 2022 season earlier this year.

Joey Essex

Joey Essex has been confirmed as the latest contestant for 2023 line-up.

The news was announced on This Morning on Friday 7th October.

Viewers will recognise Joey from The Only Way Is Essex, which he joined in 2011.

The Vivienne

Job: Drag queen and TV personality

Welsh drag queen The Vivienne has been confirmed for the 2023 series.

Revealing the news on social media, The Vivienne said: “I’m beyond excited to announce that I will be competing in Dancing on Ice in 2023! This is honestly a dream come true and I can’t wait to start training on the ice. To be the first drag artist to take part in one of the big UK reality competition shows is truly an honour. I think it’s a big step forward for queer representation on TV.”

Mollie Gallagher

Age: 24

Job: Actress

Corrie actress Mollie Gallagher will swap the cobbles for the ice next year.

“I’m really excited. I’ve not really felt nervous yet, strangely. But being here today, I am now feeling it a little bit!” Gallagher revealed during an interview on ITV’s Lorraine.

On seeking advice from her Coronation Street co-stars, she added: “I’ll be getting all the tips I can because I’m going to need it!”

Nile Wilson

Job: Gymnast

Nile Wilson was the fourth contestant announced for season 15.

“I’m going to be on ITV’s Dancing on Ice! This is a really cool thing. I’ve certainly not done much ice skating but I am so excited for the opportunity. I’m so excited to get into that routine and to feel like an athlete again,” he revealed on YouTube.

On what he hopes to bring to the ice, he added: “My biggest goal on the show is to do something that no one has ever done before!”

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu

Age: 28

Job: Reality TV star

Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has been confirmed for Dancing on Ice 2023.

“I’ve got some amazing news to tell you, I’m going to be doing this year’s Dancing on Ice! I’m so excited, I can’t wait to get myself on the ice and skate. Stay tuned and see you on the ice,” she said on Good Morning Britain.

Football legend John Fashanu is swapping his football boots for a pair of skates.

Speaking about signing up for the series, John said: “I’m so excited to be a part of Dancing on Ice! I don’t think it’ll come as a surprise to people that I’m very competitive – I am definitely in it to win it. And this may be one of the scariest things I’ve ever signed up for but I couldn’t be more ready for the challenge!”

Patsy Palmer

Job: Actress and DJ

Patsy Palmer was the first celebrity to be revealed for Dancing on Ice 2023.

Talking to This Morning, Patsy said: “I wanted to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. I thought ‘I’ll just go for it’ and it seems like a lot of fun.”

Patsy added: “My pact that I made with myself when I was 50 was I have to do things to challenge myself for the next couple of years. This is for all the 50 year-olds out there that think they can’t challenge themselves!”
