South India star Vikram or Chiyaan Vikram was recently seen in the blockbuster Ponniyin Selvan: Part One, the actor received critical acclaim for his role in the film. We have curated a list of his upcoming films that are slated to hit the theatres in the coming times.
Vikram marked his film debut with the 1990 Tamil movie En Kadhal Kanmani, it was considered a flop at the box office. 1- Ponniyin Selvan: Part Two (PS2)
Part two of one of the highest-grosser Tamil films ever PS:1 is said to be out in cinemas in April 2023. Chiyaan Vikram will return as Aditya Karikalan in PS2. Both parts were filmed simultaneously and the post-production work for the second part is in full progress, as per the reports.
Ever since PS1 was released fans have been eagerly waiting for PS2. It will be released Pan-India in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
2- Thangalaan
The actor will next be joining hands with Kabali fame Pa. Ranjith for a period drama titled Thangalaan. It will be produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under Studio Green and Neelam Productions.
It also features Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pasupathy, and Hari Krishnan Anbudarai. G.V. Prakash Kumar will be composing the music for the flick.
3- Dhruva Natchathiram
The long-awaited film of Vikram is gearing up to release in theatres soon. The film has been in the making for a while. It is expected to hit the theatres in Dec 2022 or Early 2023. The celebrated south Indian filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon helmed the film.
It will also star Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, R. Parthiban, and Simran among others. It is touted to be a spy thriller and the music will be given by Anniyan fame Harris Jayaraj.
