Charu Asopa and Rajiv Sen’s marriage hit a rough patch. The couple were on the verge of signing divorce papers after being separated for months. The two tried to give their marriage a second chance, but Charu again stated that nothing was working out between them. After accusing Rajiv Sen of cheating on her during her pregnancy, Charu detailed the physical abuse she received from her husband, who also called her a gold digger to maintain his friendship with Sushmita Sen.
During his recent interaction with Siddharth Kannan, Charu said that Rajeev had promised to change his behavior but has apparently reverted to his usual ways. He was an absentee father, running away from the problem without warning, so she made a firm decision to go out with her one-year-old daughter Ziana.
She said she wasted three years of her life with him after hearing him tell her she was a gold digger and married him because she strengthened her relationship with Sushmita Sen. She also recalled suffering physical abuse from Rajiv, saying he was prone to anger and raised his hand several times.
She added that Rajiv has a habit of disappearing when things are so futile and revealed that he had blocked her months before Ziana was born. Recalling an incident, Charu said Rajiv got jealous when his mother asked her about her well-being as she was eight months pregnant. She added that Rajiv had complained that his mother was paying attention to her instead of him.
“It’s very difficult at eight months, I just wanted to lie on the bed and do nothing, but I went because I didn’t want to spoil anyone’s mood… He said to me, ‘You’re pregnant, you’re not God.’ .It’s my birthday, she should have asked about me,” revealed Charu.
Charu also accused Rajeev of spreading rumors about her in the industry, making it difficult for her to work. She said that Rajeev would constantly mess with her and text her colleagues to stay away from her. Then she was replaced by the producer who thought she might create a problem because of Rajeev. She also denied his claims that he was unfit to care for their daughter.
