Reactions continue to trail the arrest of Ice Prince Zamani who was alleged to have assaulted a policeman.

This time around, the Police Public Relations Officer, Delta State Police Command, DSP Bright Edafe reacted to comments by Paul Okoye of the PSquare duo.

“Celebrities with no sense” was the response Mr Edafe gave to a tweet by GistReel.com, quoting the celebrity who said, “as long as a policeman enters my car and tells me to drive he’s a criminal or a kidnapper”.

Nigerians on Twitter obviously could not stomach the response by the senior policeman.

@MgbeahuruRanso1 replying the personnel says “A very harsh comment from an officer. It would have been better if you enlighten him or the public’s not saying this. Your men are to fond of that. They will enter your car and order you to start driving . To where?”

Mr Edafe seemed to be ready to reply criticisms by netizens when he went further to answer one saying “I pray we start to reason properly in this our society especially our youths. He was charged to court, if the court feels he has done no wrong, let them decide. QED“.

The arrest of the celebrity has stored controversies and has gotten other celebrities like 2 Face Idibia also criticising the development.

Magistrate Taiwo Oyaniyi granted the hip-hop star in the sum of N500,000, and he is to also to furnish the court with 2 responsible sureties.
