While we can’t deny that we love our Met Gala veterans like Blake Lively and Sarah Jessica Parker, there’s always something so magical about a celebrity making their Met Gala debut.
It is the jumping-off point to see what kind of Met Gala attendees they are. Are they the ones that arrive in something mind-bending, or the ones that are more on the low-key sultry side? It’s always interesting to see, and with this year’s Met Gala, we got to see quite a few of our favorite A-listers arrive in something jaw-dropping for their debut.
For those that don’t know, quite a few celebrities were on Anna Wintour’s “never-invite” list, like Donald Trump, Tim Gunn, Rachel Zoe, and even Paris Hilton. However, Wintour did a surprise move and invited the multi-hyphenate star Hilton for this year’s Met Gala. And, of course, everyone was itching to see what she arrived in. (Trust us when we say, you won’t be disappointed in what she rocked!)
