According to an Economic Times report, the CBI has found that Disha fell from the balcony after losing her balance under the influence of alcohol. A CBI official was quoted as saying in the report, “Investigation revealed that Salian used to organize gatherings at her residence on the eve of her birthday. The June 8 evening party was part of it. However, during the night Salian, who had consumed alcohol, loses her balance and slips over the railing of her apartment. The officer also added that there is no evidence that Disha’s death triggered Sushant’s suicide.

Another CBI official was also quoted as saying that the probe found no basis in the BJP leader’s claims that Disha was assaulted and approached Sushant for help. The official said it was important to look into the details of the case because the allegations were serious.

Meanwhile, the CBI continues to investigate Sushant’s death, which was ruled a suicide in the initial investigation by the Mumbai police. The agency is yet to file an application to close the probe into Sushant’s death.
