NEW HAVEN — Vincent McKnight of Hamden has joined Pearce Real Estate as a sales associate in the New Haven residential office, according to an announcement.

McKnight has a bachelor’s degree in business management and an associate of science management degree in retail management, the release said.

“Good management skills and organization are key elements needed in this business,” said Nanette Pastore, president of Pearce Real Estate, “and Vincent has the education and work experience to create a perfect balance for his future success.”

The women who are redefining retirement to date

MILFORD — Women Redefining Retirement will meet at 6 p.m. July 11 in the second floor conference room of the Milford Senior Center, 9 Jepson Drive.

According to a release, member Iris Dougherty will talk about meditation, techniques and its benefits for mental and physical health.

Food donations will be collected for the downtown food bank.

Geirin joins Pearce Real Estate’s residential sales team

Dan Geirin of Hamden has joined the New Haven Office of Pearce Real Estate as a residential sales associate, the company said in a news release.

Geirin studied accounting at Curry College in Massachusetts, the release said.

Housatonic River Job Network meetings in July

MILFORD — The Housatonic River Job Network has set the agenda for its July meetings.

— July 12: The guest speaker will be Kate Frederick, CT Biz Tour on-air personality and social media executive, and the topic will be “Putting Your Best Self Into the Job Market.” According to the organizers, “this workshop will include lots of tips to help job seekers present themselves as their authentic selves – not just in an interview, but in all social situations.”

— July 19: The guest speaker will be Paul Meyer, President of The Schlegg Group, and the topic will be “Job Search 2022 – Top Strategies for Success.” Meyer is a senior HR professional with more than 25 years of experience in general HR and specialty areas, organizers said, and his presentation “will cover all aspects of the job search, from networking to resumes to interviewing.”
