BTS vocalist Jungkook and Charlie Puth gave us the song of the summer with the Left and Right collab. He is doing very well. It has been on the iTunes chart for 100 days. It was also nominated for Song of the Summer at the VMAs. Audacy gave Jungkook the Artist of the Summer award. The song was successful due to its cheerful music and the hard work put in by Charlie Puth and ARMY fans. The two bombarded radio stations with requests to play it, which ensured good airtime. As we know, radio plays determine how successful and popular artists will be in the US. Radio play is also critical to getting a song on the Billboard charts.
iHeartRadio DJ Brian Grimes said he won’t be playing Left and Right despite claiming to be a Charlie Puth fan. He tweeted about the same. But he deleted it, saying some angry fans had sent him death threats. But some ARMYs have uploaded the video of Brian Grimes and other DJs mocking the fans, calling them “BTS nerds”.

.@xl1067 This is unnecessary, at a time when radio is dying, your DJs are insulting the people who are actually engaged and tuned in. Then to say they won’t release a song because they hate the fans? That’s just immature and unprofessional. Please excuse me. #BTSARMY #bts pic.twitter.com/vTYie3wYsy

In the video, they can be fans like BTS Nerds. One of them said that if the fans bombarded them like that, they wouldn’t play. ARMY is not impressed with how the housewives refer to ARMY as children. This comes after James Corden called ARMYs as fifteen-year-old girls. Charlie Puth’s manager is not impressed with the radio station. Here’s what they tweeted…
Unbelievable. I can’t imagine he says that about Taylor Swift or Harry Styles fans. It’s so insulting. https://t.co/ynIPVPuePq

Do your job @xl1067. If you’re not replaying requests because you find nerds annoying, you’re in serious trouble. Your “talent” admitted on air that they won’t play bands because they hate the fans. It’s like not writing about celebrities before I dislike their fans. Oh wait, I’m not doing that… https://t.co/QqJj1GqZAh

I guess he doesn’t want to play #Left and right from @charlieputh and #JungKook on @BTS_twt @bts_bighit
I really hope this is remembered when they want BTS at an event. But maybe they can sell out tickets for a show without BTS @iHeartRadio. pic.twitter.com/XYM00PbtYH— ChellebARMY (@chellebtoo) October 3, 2022
This is really very disappointing. Left and Right is one of the best pop songs of the year. Fans are freaking out over BTS member Jungkook and Charlie Puth’s chemistry and romance.
