After the high-fashion ‘Met Ball’, And Just Like That — streaming on HBO Max — returned with yet another fashionable episode. Episode 6, titled “Bomb Cyclone”, embraces the snowstorm set in New York in style.
While Lisa Todd Wexley (Nicole Ari Parker) can be seen discussing her film at the Museum of Modern Art, Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Che (Sara Ramirez) are planning to get to “Widow Con”. Charlotte (Kristin Davis), on the other hand, is out in the snow on a complicated motherly mission to help her daughter Lily.
The winter storm brings plenty of outerwear moments – showing it is possible to have functionality in fashion. Check out the best looks from the episode below.
Miranda
We never knew that someone could look so effortlessly chic in their pyjamas before we saw Miranda. Coping with her new living arrangement with her former teacher Nya, Miranda rolls out of bed in her heart-covered jammies from Victoria’s Secret. This comfy yet cool pyjama set is a perfect addition to your wardrobe for a lazy day.
Seema and Carrie
At the beginning of episode 6, Carrie breaks her laptop as it is perched on a makeshift laptop stand. Thus, Carrie drags Seema along to the Apple store to purchase a new one.
They arrive at the store in style as Carrie wears a vintage ’80s ski suit, teamed with blue suede Duchessa Gardin boots, socks and a pair of purple gloves, while Seema stays neutral as always in high-waisted brown Joseph trousers with a brown turtleneck and Mongolian fur-adorned coat. She accessorises the look with a long belt and a crossbody bag by Mansur Gavriel.
Carrie
At the morning of WidowCon, a winter cyclone hits New York City, but Carrie is unwilling to bail and need Che for support. The major storm is the perfect time for Carrie to sport a couture jacket from Moncler’s collaboration with Valentino in 2019, paired with a Kin beanie.
Later at the event, she coat checks the couture creation and can be seen sporting an ’80s-style patterned puffed sleeve dress from Converted Closet.
Charlotte
Charlotte runs an errand for her daughter Lily in the blizzard. She ditches her comfy red and black plaid onesie for a gorgeous Oscar de la Renta pink wool coat with a matching Chanel bag, accessorised with a Burberry checked earmuffs.
Lisa
Saving the best for the last is Lisa, who rejects her husband’s offer to drive her to the event. She walks in the snow in her stunning black and white Balmain cape, Celine leather skirt, white Dries van Noten boots, Paula Rowan gloves and a Zorro-like Monrowe hat. She carries a bright pink Valentino bag and wig box in her hands.
Once she arrives at MoMA, she ditches her poncho and can be seen in a black, dramatically fringed Dior sweater underneath–an apt look for a bomb cyclone.
