1. Love Hard

Tired of the online dating apps, she wants to settle down with a nice guy. Watch this one to look at how Natalie goes on an adventure and finds her love in Tag during the Christmas season. 2. Happiest Season
While most Christmas romance movies are about straight couples, Happiest Season will freshen you up with a splash of new story-telling which focuses on Abbey and Harer’s gay romance. While one of them is openly gay the other has still not come out in front of her parents.
3. While You Were Sleeping
This age-old Sandra Bullock classic is about Lucy who is a train-booth collector and how she falls for a daily train commuter- Peter. The twist in the story happens when he is mugged and pushed on the tracks to be saved by Lucy. While Peter is in the hospital recovering, his family celebrates Christmas just like a big American family. This one is worth watching for its effortless story-telling.

4. Carol
This movie is based on a Novel named ‘The Price Of Salt’ written by Patricia Highsmith in 1952. It is the story of a mother, Carol, who tries to keep her daughter through a bad divorce and struggles through life in New York City. Carol meets Therese who works at a toy store during Christmas holidays and falls in love with her.
5. Last Christmas
This movie is about Kate, an aspiring singer who works at a Christmas shop in London and dresses as an elf. Her parents are Yugoslavian immigrants who are striving for acceptance in the English society. The movie is about Kate who starts taking small steps towards improving her life and takes control of things in her hands.
6. Elf
Jovie who plays an elf in a departmental store while Buddy is a human who is raised among actual elves in the North Pole region. Jovie is terrified of singing in front of a crowd but booking at Buddy’s Christmas spirit, she makes her first public performance. It is a light-hearted romcom, perfect for this festive season.
7. Bridget Jones Diary 1
Bridget Jones Diary 1 is filmed during the Christmas season and the holiday spirit can be seen elaborately in the movie. Bridget Jones writes a diary which focuses on things she wants to make happen in her life. It is a light-hearted romantic comedy perfect to watch with your family this season.
8. Godmothered
This movie begins with a sweet, fairytale-kind of beginning and by the end the main character who is the Godmother realises that self-love and discovering your own self can also be a happily-ever-after and it need not necessarily involve romance. This one definitely teaches a valuable lesson.
