Popular actress Bhumi Pednekar needs no introduction. She has established herself in the industry with her brilliant performance across various genres. Going by the number of films in his kitty, it seems Bhumi is on a tight shooting schedule. However, the actress has managed to spare some time and take the blessing of Mahakal in Ujjain along with her sister Samiksha Pednekar.

Giving a peek into her visit to the Mahakaleshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh, Bhumi shared a two-photo post on her verified Instagram handle. She can be seen posing with her sister Samiksha and a few officials on the temple premises. Donning a casual look, the actress opted for a red-full sleeve dress, while Samikha posed in a blue dress. Pednekar sisters can be seen sporting tikka as well. 

 

Captioning the post, the Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress wrote, “The energy, the connect, the strength needs to be felt. / There is peace and protection that needs to be felt.” She also hashtagged “Jai Mahakal”, and “Ujjain”. Reacting to the post, Samiksha called it an “unforgettable experience” in the comments section. 

 

 

 

Coming to the professional front, the 33-year-old actress was last seen in Govinda Naam Mera. The comedy-suspense, helmed by Shashank Khaitan, also featured Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani in the lead. Produced by Dharma Productions, it was released on Disney Plus Hotstar on December 16. 

 

As mentioned earlier, she has close to 6 projects in her kitty including Afwah, and The Lady Killer. Besides these titles, she recently announced the release date of Bheed. The Anubhav Sinha directorial is slated to release on March 24 this year. The upcoming social drama, also featuring Rajkummar Rao,  will shed light on the dichotomy and complexities through the toughest times India faced.
