Bethenny Frankel believes Meghan Markle is a “terrible businessman” who is “really screwed” at life after Megxit.
The former “Real Housewives of New York” star said in a viral TikTok video on Tuesday that the Duchess of Sussex is “backing herself into a corner.”
“She’s a terrible, terrible businessman, a strategist — she plays checkers, not chess — because she overplays her hand and backs herself into a corner, becoming a woman without a side,” Frankel explained.
The Skinnygirl founder, 51, said Markle, 41, had managed to get out of a “terrible situation” in the UK but was “getting by” because of her methods.
“I remember talking about it before the Oprah interview and getting death threats and losing big deals and having a lot of A-list people text me saying they secretly agreed with me,” Frankel said, “but then her friends messaged me, “Please write down what you said.”
Frankel described the “Suits” alum as a “polarizing personality,” but stood by her “personal choice” not to be “terrified and not speak out.”
Hours before Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey airs in March 2021, the former Bravolebrity slammed the “fairly unknown actress.”
“Cry Me A River” Frankel tweeted to her 1.5 million followers, soon mentioning the Archetypes podcast host’s previous life as a Deal or No Deal briefcase model.
“The grind of being a game show host, a relatively unknown actress, suffering in a palace, with tiaras and 7 figure weddings for TWO WHOLE YEARS to being a household name with @Oprah on speed dial, getting paid 7 million for interviews , hundreds of millions in media deals,” she added.
