Before Shoaib Malik, Sania Mirza was to marry her childhood friend named Sohrab Mirza. He is the owner of Universal Baker. They were engaged but broke it off and never made it down the aisle. In an interview with the Times of India in 2010, Sohrab Mirza recounted this episode. He said that they realized that they were not compatible with each other and decided to part ways amicably. He said it was a mutual decision and he expected it as there are many differences between them. He was quoted as saying to TOI, “Differences arose between us right from the beginning. After we got engaged, we realized that we were completely incompatible, even though we had known each other for about six years and our families had been friends for three generations. the broken engagement did not come out of the blue. I saw him!” There were rumors that there were problems because Sanya is a star, but he denied all the rumors.
Later in 2010, Sania Mirza married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. They have a son together. Their fans are just hoping that the news is not true.
