Bea Alonzo
Kapuso star Bea Alonzo has been tapped as the face of the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries.
“We are delighted to welcome Bea Alonzo as our celebrity endorser for the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries. Apart from being one of the most sought-after celebrities in the country, she wholeheartedly champions sustainable farming, evident in her ownership of an organic farm in Zambales which also serves as a haven for her and her family,” said Deputy National Statistician Minerva Eloisa Esquivias, during a media conference in Quezon City last Tuesday, Aug. 1
The conduct of the 2022 CAF officially starts on Sept. 4, 2023.
The PSA will be sending out a total of 15,842 enumerators and 5,430 census supervisors across the country to carry out a census on households involved in agriculture and fishery, as well as agriculture operators who work with crops, livestock, poultry, aquaculture, fishery, and barangay officials.
Bea, who just got engaged from actor Dominic Roque, encouraged everyone from the agriculture and fishery sectors to participate in the coming census.
