At the IFFI (International Film Festival of India) Goa 2022, jury chief and Israeli director Nadav Lapid criticized Vivek Agnihotri’s Kashmiri Files as they called it a “vulgar, propaganda” film. In no time, their statement went viral on the internet. Actor Anupam Kher, who played a pivotal role in the film, took to his Twitter feed to react to the remarks. Nadav Lapid’s video from IFFI received a lot of mixed reactions on social media platforms. Anupam tweeted saying, “No matter how big the lie is, it is always small compared to the truth (sic).” However, he did not mention Lapid’s name in his tweet.
