Vijay Deverakonda and Anania Kovach lead Liger received negative reviews and the film also failed to make a mark at the box office. While several reviews have praised Vijay for the effort he has put into his roles, Ananya has been criticized by all for her performance in the film. The actress has been trolled a lot for her role in the film as netizens are not happy with her at all. Recently, Anania was spotted at the airport and while interacting with the paparazzi, she didn’t recognize Laiger as Tiger.
When the paparazzi called her ‘Liger Girl’, the actress got confused and asked him, ‘Tiger?’ Well, for her, this reaction of Ananya Panday has been trolled by netizens. Instagram commented, “Isi overacting ki vajah se Liger down he.” Another netizen wrote, “Matlab ab wo khud movie ko pehchane se inkar karegi.” Watch the video below…
Liger was expected to do well at the box office. But the negative reviews and bad words have certainly affected the collection of the film. In 2 days the film collected Rs. 23.40 crores (all languages).
While on day 1 the Telugu version collected Rs. 13.99 crore, on its second day the film tanked and collected Rs. 2.92 crores. The Hindi version of the film has collected Rs. 5.50 crore (Thursday and Day 1 reviews on Friday). Well, it looks like the movie will not show an upward trend at the box office in the coming days. After Prabhas’ Radhe Shyam, Liger is the second pan-Indian film of 2022 that failed to make a mark.
Talking about Ananya’s films, the actress has lined up Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Vijay will be seen in JGM and Kushi. JGM is also directed by Puri Jagannadh, who helmed Liger.
