In December 2022, we had reported about Amit Sadh being cast in the lead role in the upcoming film Main, co-starring Esha Deol. After portraying the role of an unconventional and intellectual crime branch officer in the Amazon Prime Video web-series ‘Breathe’ and now he is excited to impress his fans with his performance as a cop once again in this film. Now, after wrapping up the first schedule of the film last year, Amit has returned to the project after completing his other work commitments.
Amit Sadh kicks off the second schedule of Main in Mumbai
Amit Sadh had recently taken off on a break to rejuvenate last month and now has returned to the film. He has started shooting for the second schedule of the film, which recently kick started in Mumbai. His recent photos feature him posing with a gun on the sets of Main. In the film, the Kai Po Che actor will be sharing screen space with some prolific actors like Seema Biswas, Tigmanshu Dhulia and Milind Gunaji.
From what we hear, the actor was fascinated when the debutant filmmaker Sachin Saraf initially shared his vision of the film. The cop drama is said to be socially relevant with a powerful message and it is being said that Amit was instantly hooked on to it, since the narration.
Main is produced by Pradeep Rangwani of UV Films and it will bring together Sadh with Esha Deol for the first time. While Amit last appeared in the Bollywood film Shakunthala Devi alongside Sanya Malhotra and Vidya Balan, Esha last featured in a Bollywood film way back in 2011.
