Gadar 2 has been making headlines these days for several reasons. Readers might be aware, earlier Ameesha Patel had and film director Anil Sharma found themselves at loggerheads over the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha titled Gadar 2. She had alleged Anil Sharma for “mismanagement” on the sets of Gadar 2. Now, Ameesha took to Twitter and responded to fans who were concerned regarding the screen presence of Simrat Kaur who has earlier done sleazy scenes in a B grade movie. She is cast in the movie opposite Utkarsh Sharma, who plays Ameesha and Sunny Deol’s son.

Several fan accounts of actress and the film shared snippets of Simrat Kaur from her projects and expressed their concern regarding her presence in the film. An account shared videos and photos of Simrat along with the caption, “Dear @ameesha_patel mam, We fans of @iamsunnydeol sir & you are v worried seeing all these cheap n sleezy vds n images of the girl @simratkaur_16 who is opp @iutkarsharma in #Gadar2. How can @Anilsharma_dir cast her in a clean film like #Gadar2 when she has done such cheap work?” Replying to the tweet, Ameesha wrote, “Hey my lovely fans !! Pls Stop speculating!! Humbly request u to watch Gadar 2 in the theatres on August 11 and give it all ur love !!”

A fan page shared a picture of Ameesha along with Sunny Deol and tweeted, “Also @ameesha_patel mam we fans have heard from @iamsunnydeol sirs fans that the other girl has a very small role so we are very glad since in a pure film like #Gadar2 fans wouldn’t want to see more of anyone but Tara & Sakina only.. @Anilsharma_dir @ZeeStudios_,” to which Ameesha replied, “Pls pls watch Gadar 2 !! Recently, Ameesha had also alleged delay in payment for some technicians who had worked on Gadar 2. She had written on Twitter, “Another concern of fans has been about certain incidents regarding Anil Sharma Productions to have taken place in regards to the final schedule of Gadar 2 that took place end May in Chandigarh!! There were certain queries that many technicians like makeup artists, costume designers, and others, etc. did not receive their rightful remuneration and dues from Anil Sharma Productions!! Yes, they did not!! But @ZeeStudios_ stepped in and made sure all dues were settled as they are a very professional company.”
The highly anticipated teaser for Gadar 2 has been released. It is an upcoming action-drama film, which is directed and produced by Anil Sharma, with the story penned by Shaktimaan Talwar. Serving as a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, the movie stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead roles.
