OMG 2 is making news and how. Today we heard that the priests of Ujjain’s Mahakaleshwar temple have said that they will not tolerate disrespect to sentiments. Mahesh Sharma, a priest, told a news agency that the makers should delete scenes shot in the temple. They said the A certificate is for movies with adult content. Akshay Kumar has shot for the film at the Mahakaleshwar temple. They said that if the stages were not removed, protests would begin across the nation. The priest was quoted as telling a news agency: “This certificate is reserved for films that have adult content. We demand that some scenes which have been shot in the Mahakal temple be removed as they may offend the religious sentiments of the viewers.”
The film is apparently a courtroom drama where a father fights for his son. The film tackles the bold but sensitive subject of sex education. Bollywood Hungama reports that there is some controversy surrounding the subject of masturbation. This is one of the key plot elements. The censor board apparently liked Akshay Kumar’s performance in the film. But it’s cautious to think that the film might just offend people badly. The CBFC has been criticized for passing over Adipurush with his dialogues and Oppenheimer having a sex scene involving the Bhagavad Gita.
Now Akshay Kumar fans have written a letter to Anurag Thakur on social media. They want him to step in and fix the problem. Promotions cannot begin unless the film is cleared. Check out the tweets…

OMG 2 should be released on August 11, 2023 if all goes well. It will clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2. We hope the impasse will be resolved soon.
