Nitesh Tiwari is said to have finalized the star pairing of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor for his magnum opus, Ramayana. The director discussed and worked on the script for a long time. Pinkvilla has said that it has finalized them and an official announcement could be made on the occasion of Diwali. Alia Bhatt was recently seen with Nitesh Tiwari and it led to huge speculations. He may start work on the film in December 2023. KGF starrer Yash is almost finalized as the mighty Raavan.
RANBIR KAPOOR IS VERY INTERESTED IN THE PROJECT
Ranbir Kapoor was busy visiting Nitesh Tiwari’s office to know how the makers are doing the preview of the epic. The name of the office is Ramayana office according to Pinkvilla. The team is now testing Ranbir Kapoor’s look for the role of Lord Ram. It looks like once the look is finalized, the actor will enter the physical transformation aspect. Alia Bhatt also seems to frequent the place. The three producers Nitesh Tiwari, Namit Malhotra and Madhu Mantena have created an entire world for the epic.
ALIA BHATT FIRST CHOICE FOR SITA
Alia Bhatt has been confirmed for the role and she seems to be the first choice. The source was quoted as saying, “Alia was the first choice for Ramayana, but at the time the dates couldn’t match due to multiple reasons.” The actress is now on board and is very excited about the role of her lifetime. Even Ranbir Kapoor is “charged for this new divine journey of Sri Ram”.
Rumor has it that Yash is yet to sign the contract as Raavan. But the actor has verbally committed to the project. Madhu Mantena is confident that he will be involved. The KGF 2 star is exploring various options after the mega-blockbuster franchise. He is also doing a film with Jeethu Mohandas. It looks like there will be more clarity in the next 15 days.
