Produced by Abundantia Entertainment, the eight-episode original series is directed by Mayank Sharma, who is also the creator of Season 2 along with Arshad Syed, Vikram Tuli, Priya Saggi & Abhijeet Deshpande.

After a long wait, the Amazon Original Breathe: Into the Shadows Season 2 was released to the audience and truly captured hearts with its captivating story. Although the audience saw many interesting characters unfolding different chapters in this dark world, its weirdness just took to the next level in the second season and especially Abhishek Bachchan’s dual character as Avinash and his ruthless alter-ego J.

Although the actor really proved his acting chops in the second season, he really brings a story behind the preparation of this deep and interesting character. While sharing about the preparation of his character, Abhishek said, “I was teamed up with fantastic writers and a director who is so on the ball. I have been interacting with Mayank for four years and I still cannot think of an instance where I have asked him a question and he has not had an answer. That’s how prepared he is. Mayank and I spent a few days preparing everything because we wanted everything to be pre-decided, so on set we just did the scenes because there is so much to explore, we didn’t want to waste time exploring the set. We spent countless days developing the character of Avinash and Jay and why they would do certain things, how they would be different but similar at the same time. We mapped out maybe in 10 years what they will be. So there was a thorough work that Mayank made me do on the characters”.

Produced by Abundantia Entertainment, the eight-episode original series is directed by Mayank Sharma, who is also the creator of Season 2 along with Arshad Syed, Vikram Tuli, Priya Saggi & Abhijeet Deshpande. Breathe: Into the Shadows Season 2 is a psychological thriller that features Abhishek A Bachchan, Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen, Naveen Kasturia, Saiyami Kher and Ivana Kaur in pivotal roles. The highly anticipated Amazon Original was exclusively released on Prime Video on November 9 in India and 240 countries worldwide.
