Suriya Becomes South India’s Number 1 Celebrity: IIHB Report 2023

Tamil actor Suriya is ranked as the number one celebrity in South India. The research was conducted by the Indian Institute of Human Brands (IIHB). Suriya is known for movies like Soorarai Pottru Jai Bhim, Ghajini and Singam among others. The Tamil actor beats other South Indian actors to reach this mark. The study is based on TIARA (Trust, Identification, Attractiveness, Respect and Appeal) according to the IIHB. Suriya, who mainly works in the Tamil film industry, has become the most famous South Indian celebrity. Suriya has emerged as the most trusted, most identifiable, most attractive, most respected and most attractive celebrity among all South Indian celebrities. According to the surveys, the actor became one of the highest grossing actors in Tamil cinema. In TIARA’s overall ranking, Suriya leads with a score of 84, followed by Allu Arjun in second place with a score of 79. In the Telugu cinema category, Allu Arjun topped the list while Dulquer Salmaan and Fahadh Faasil shared the first positions in Malayalam. Vijay placed second in the Kollywood category. This is the first time that the TIARA study has been conducted exclusively on South Indian celebrities. The IIHB survey was conducted across the four southern states and covered 18 celebrities from South India, six from Tollywood, six from Kollywood, 4 from Mollywood and two from Sandalwood. The report was studied between November and December 2022 and resulted in Surya eclipsing the list.

As per the reports, Suriya is leading the competition with a TIARA score of 84. Suriya is dominating all the categories of Indian Institute of Human Brands to get its best South Indian celebrity.

Suriya was called the Colossus of the South by IIHB Principal Mentor Sandeep Goyal. He shared that the actor’s score beats all his competitors. The CM also mentioned that none of his contemporaries’ scores were even close to Suriya’s in various parameters of the study.
