Former 90 Day Fiancé star Ella Johnson showed fans how much she has changed in the past few years with before and after photos of herself on Instagram. The Idaho woman was criticized a lot when she appeared in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5 in 2021. On 90 Day Fiancé, Ella spoke highly of her “Asian obsession” and how it helped her land a Chinese boyfriend in a group for white women and Asian men. But over time, Ella’s storyline with Johnny Chao became a lot more than her hitting the “jackpot” and finding her “Asian prince.” Johnny never ended up meeting Ella in person after having been in a long-distance relationship for over two years.
During the time that Johnny refused to meet Ella, citing the COVID-19 pandemic as a valid enough reason, she seemingly cheated on him with a friend of hers. Johnny wanted to get engaged to Ella nonetheless, but that never happened as she announced their split in September. At the same time, Ella also revealed that she was successful at losing 25 pounds since starting her weight loss journey. In her latest Instagram post, 90 Day Fiancé celebrity Ella created a slideshow showing old and new photos from herself captioned, “Love memories.” In the pictures, Ella’s face changed drastically and so did her style, along with her hairstyles and hair color. The experimental Ella added that she loves to look back and see how she has “changed and grown.” The 90 Day Fiancé star continued, “Still more to do but never giving up,” and she wished for a happy future by never giving up.
90 Day Fiancé Star Johnny Replied To Ella’s IG Post
When Ella confessed to 90 Day Fiancé fans that she ended things with Johnny, she also mentioned that he still has plans to come to America. Ella supports the idea of Johnny visiting her but doesn’t see herself getting back together with the single dad because she doesn’t want to keep waiting forever. Johnny, meanwhile, commented on Ella’s post in a now-deleted comment, saying, “Congrats for your weight loss, you deserve better man good luck and best wish.” Johnny wants Ella to be the best version of herself so she will end up having the best kind of relationship.
As of this writing, Ella and Johnny still follow each other on Instagram, meaning they have remained friends after the breakup. Johnny’s last Instagram post was in April, and fans have been commenting on it since then, asking him how he is doing and how things are in China. Six weeks ago, 90 Day Fiancé star Johnny told a fan that he is doing well after having spent several days with his family.
However, Johnny did not confirm whether he did end up coming to the U.S. after all. Ella, on the other hand, has also refrained from sharing any dating life details on social media. She does, however, confidently post outfit photos in her newly transformed body, which goes to show how confident she is after her weight loss. When Ella decided to sleep with another man behind Johnny’s back, she admitted that her self-worth was tied up in male physical attention because of her insecurities.
