Two songs from the movie, Besharam Rang and Jhoome Jo Pathaan, have become viral on social media platforms. Written and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra, the movie is set to premiere on January 25, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil and Telegu.
Bramhastra 2
The ones who have watched the first part of Brahmastra know that Deepika will play a vital role in the sequel. In a small scene, it is revealed that the actor will be playing the role of Ranbir Kapoor’s character’s mother, Amrita. The movie was one of the most commercially successful in 2022, and the same is expected from part 2. Setting the standard for VFX in Indian cinema, Brahmastra 2 is one of the most anticipated movies of 2023. A confirmed date has not been announced yet, and the sequel is most likely to premiere in late 2023.
Project K
Project K is an upcoming movie written and directed by Nag Ashwin. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film was announced back in 2020. Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas will also be working alongside Deepika. It is reported that the movie is one of the most expensive films ever made in India, with a budget of 500 crores.
The movie will tentatively release in late 2023 or January 2024.
Fighter
Fighter is an upcoming action movie written and directed by Siddharth Anand. It will be Hrithik Roshan and Deepika’s first-ever collaboration project. Anil Kapoor will also be starring in the movie alongside the duo. The action-packed movie will tentatively be released on January 2024 in theatres nationwide.
The Intern
The Intern is a remake of the 2015 Hollywood movie of the same name. Deepika will be taking up Anne Hathaway’s character Jules, and Amitabh Bachchan will be playing Robert De Niro’s character Ben. Originally Rishi Kapoor was chosen to play the role, but due to the actor’s demise, it was given to Amitabh. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the movie is set to release in mid-2023.

Jawan
It is rumoured that Deepika will be playing a cameo role in the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan movie. Reportedly the actor was spotted near the movie sets, and fans have been speculating about the incident ever since. The action thriller film is written and directed by Atlee and is set to release on June 2, 2023.
Singham Again
Deepika will be joining forces with Rohit Shetty yet again for another cop movie. Singham Again will be the sequel to Singham, starring Ajay Devgn. The movie is still in the works, and it will most likely be released by the end of 2023.
Mahabharata
Although unconfirmed, Deepika will most likely be taking up the role of Draupadi in a Mahabharata-based movie. Back in 2019, producer Madhu Mantena revealed that he was considering the actor to play the central role in the epic movie.
SSMB29
Working title SSMB29 is an adventure drama based on real-life events. The director of the movie SS Rajamouli has expressed that he wants to cast the actor alongside Mahesh Babu in the upcoming film. The movie will tentatively be released in mid-2023.
