The final two months of every year are a great time to catch up on horror movies that were released throughout the year, as there typically aren’t all that many new releases coming along at this point in time. Halloween is now behind us and things are slowing down a bit on the horror front for the holidays, but each new week still brings new releases along with it.

This week, 5 brand new horror movies will be available at home…

Here’s all the new horror releasing November 8, 2022 – November 13, 2022!

First up, the Bloody Disgusting-powered SCREAMBOX streaming service is serving up another slice of gross-out indie horror this week with All Jacked Up and Full of Worms.

Alex Phillips’s psychedelic freak-out is now streaming on SCREAMBOX!

In the film, “Working at a seedy motel, maintenance man Roscoe (Phillip Andre Botello) is always searching for his latest fix. When he stumbles upon a powerfully hallucinogenic worm, his days of dime-store drugs are over. Along with his new love interest (Dawkins), the pair embark on a delirious odyssey of sex, violence, and becoming one with the dirt.”

The transgressive splatter comedy also stars Trevor Dawkins (“Easy”) and Betsey Brown (The Scary of Sixty-First), with Mike Lopez, Noah Lepawsky and Eva Fellows.

Park Hoon-jung‘s The Witch Part 1: The Subversion gets a sequel with The Witch: Part 2 – The Other One, now available on DVD and VOD here in the United States today.

In this sequel to the popular Korean sci-fi action thriller, the story moves away from a confined secret lab and out into the real world. After a mysterious girl emerges as the sole survivor of a bloody raid on the research facility behind the top-secret Witch Program, she is rescued by a pair of civilians who soon realize the girl is both very powerful and in very grave danger.

However, as the assassins tasked with locating and silencing the girl move ever closer, the lives of everyone around her fall under increasingly great peril.

Cynthia (a.k.a. Shin Sia) stars with Park Eun-bin, Seo Eun-soo, Jin Goo, Sung Yu-been, Jo Min-soo and Lee Jong-suk. Actress Kim Da-mi reprises her role from the first film.

From Producer Jeffrey Reddick, creator of the Final Destination franchise, The Willowbrook was also released on digital platforms today courtesy of Gravitas Ventures.

“A renowned wellness influencer invites one of her recently overdosed followers to seek recovery at her small-town manor. Once the follower arrives, she realizes the dark world existing within the manor is not what she–nor millions of others–perceived from the internet.  With a gripping and fast-paced tone, this film explores the duplicitous side of social media.”

Written and directed by first-time director Zach Koepp, The Willowbrook stars Jessica Bishop, Erin Day, and Lawrence J. Hughes. The film is a Rag Tag Pictures Production.

A Northern Irish folk horror movie, Shudder recently picked up Mandrake for streaming release here in the United States, and the film will begin streaming on Thursday, November 10.

“The film follows probation officer Cathy Madden who is given the task of rehabilitating notorious killer ‘Bloody’ Mary Laidlaw back into society after twenty years of jail. Cathy has always believed that every client deserves a shot at redemption, but her beliefs are firmly tested when two children disappear near Mary’s farm.”

Deirdre Mullins (The Drowning) plays Cathy in the upcoming Mandrake, and Derbhle Crotty (Notes On A Scandal) stars as ‘Bloody’ Mary Laidlaw. The cast also includes Seamus O’Hara (The Northman), Jude Hill (Belfast) and Roisin Gallagher (The Dry).

Lynne Davison directed Mandrake, written by Matt Harvey (An Act of Defiance).

How well do you really know your friends? Peyton List (“Cobra Kai”) leads the cast of the horror movie The Friendship Game, available on VOD platforms this Friday from RLJE Films.

“The film revolves around a group of teenagers who encounter a strange object that tests their bonds to each other with increasingly destructive consequences.”

Brendan Meyer (“Color Out of Space”), Kelcey Mawema (“To All the Boys…” franchise), Kaitlyn Santa Juana (“The Flash”) and Dylan Schombing (“Warcraft”) also star.

Scooter Corkle (Hollow in the Land) directed the film, written by Damien Ober (“The OA”).
