After Air Flight 828 disappeared for 5 years, 191 passengers return to the world that has moved on. Their coming back is linked with some supernatural realities and heart-pounding mysteries. Featuring Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, the series is created by Jeff Rake. 

2. Candy – Disney+ Hotstar

Murder, mystery, thriller – these three elements make for the perfect binge-watch content. Set in 1980s Texas, Candy is based on a real-life incident and sheds light on the terrifying story of killer Candy Montgomery and her victim, Betty Gore. The series stars Jessica Biel, Timothy Simons and Melanie Lynskey.

3. Stranger Things – Netflix

Created by Matt Duffer, Ross Duffer, this Netflix original needs no introduction. Nominated for Emmy Awards 2022, the movie has dominated various global awards. Set in 1980s Indiana, the series starts right after a disappearance of a young boy. As the search for him begins, a group of young friends crosses paths with supernatural forces and secret government exploits. The show features Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown.

4. Intimacy – Netflix

Politics, diplomacy, dirty secret, sex, lust and scandal – that’s enough to sell you a show. This Spanish drama on Netflix is based on a political sex scandal. A rising politician’s career is in jeopardy when a secretely recorded video of her sex life is leaked. 

5. Only Murder In The Building – Disney+ Hotstar

Lover of true crime? But what if a crime takes place in front of you, would you be willing to solve it and get involved in a dangerous ploy? Three strangers share a strong fixation for true crime and when a murder happens inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, they decide to use their knowledge and solve the case. As they proceed they realise that the killer might be living among them. With a clock ticking, they need to find him before it’s too late. 

6. Shoorveer – Disney+ Hotstar

For those who have enjoyed Tom Cruise’s Top Gun, this Indian rip-off might make for a decent watch. As the country comes under imminent attack, the Air Force unit must fight the threat before it destroys the nation. The Disney+ Hotstar original features Makarand Deshpande, Manish Chaudhari, Regina Cassandra, Armaan Ralhan, Aadil Khan, Abhishek Saha, Anjali Barot, Kuldeep Sareen, Arif Zakaria, Faisal Rashid, Sahil Mehta and Shivya Pathani. 

7. Extraordinary Attorney Woo – Netflix

Creating quite a buzz, this K-drama is everything a Korean show fan could have asked for. Starring Park Eun-bin, the show revolves around a 27-year-old attorney suffering from Asperger’s syndrome. She has everything that sets her apart – an impressive IQ of 164, an extraordinary memory, a college topper and creative thinking, however, she struggles when it comes to social interaction. 8. She – Netflix

The popular Hindi crime series returns for a second season. The series revolves around a female constable who goes undercover to bust an underworld gang and in the process, realises the potential of her dormant sexuality. The series is loaded with NSFW scenes as part of her undercover mission. Starring Aaditi Pohankar, Vijay Varma and Vishwas Kini, the show is created by Imtiaz Ali

9. Vikram – Disney+ Hotstar

After a successful run at the box office, director Lokesh Kanagara Tamil-language movie features an ensemble cast of Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahad Faasil and Supriya. When a series of police officers are murdered, a special investigative officer needs to get hold of those working against the system and protecting a fearsome drug mafia. This world of the mafia is worth getting invested in.

4. Resident Evil – Netflix

One of the most popular franchises returns as a show introducing us to a new universe and two different time zones – 2022 and 2036. 14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker vows to bring down the one responsible for this, while surviving at the same time.
