The Spanish cultural hotspot plays host to four days of design ingenuity for the 30th time.

The world of fashion has landed on Barcelona’s shores once again, as the city’s flagship fashion event, 080, gets underway. A convergence of budding design talent at the vanguard of the industry alongside well-established thriving brands, the vast cultural legacy of the Catalan city as ever proves the perfect arena for the landmark design on display.

Returning IRL for the first time since before the pandemic, the 30th edition of the bi-annual event features an array of design talent, covering men’s, women’s, and genderless garments. All She Loves, helmed by Spanish designer Clara Esteve, returns to exhibit the casual, chic swimwear and intimates they’ve become known for. Five-year-old genderless Barcelona brand, Dominnico, sees the slow-fashion brand worn by everyone from Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Rosalía bring their detail-centric collection to home catwalks. Fellow Barcelonian menswear/genderless designer EÑAUT returns following his 2019 win for Best Emerging Design Collection at 080, with his seventh collection of minimalist, sustainably minded designs. Elsewhere, Hotel Barbados looks set to provide some much-needed summer effervescence to proceedings, with their retro Caribbean, vibrant geometric-heavy collection. However, with almost endless shows to take in, other brands appearing include LARHHA, Escorpion, Larhha, The Label Edition, Tiscar Espadas, and many more. It’s going to be a packed week and we are wholeheartedly here for it.

Head below for a taste of what the rest of the week has in store, right now…
